Marriage is the most important thing in the bible. Yahweh created every thing man needed for life. Then he created man then woman and the covenant of marriage! Then Yahweh RESTED. Yeshua said: What God have joined let no man separate. The Bible started with Marriage in Geneses and ends with The Wedding Feast of the Lamb, The Wife of the Lamb. The Law was the written instruction for Yahweh's Wife, the Old Marriage Covenant. That is why Yahweh punished his wife as a group " they answered AS ONE MAN" One Wife one Body. The New Marriage Covenant with his Son " is not like the Old Covenant". Yeshua said: " In my Father's house are MANY Bridal Suits, ( Mansions) And if that were not true I would have told you". With Christ we are EACH betrothed to him and will be one of his wives. We are each a member of His Body thru marriage. Yashua is the Son of Yahweh. The family is Elohim, a sinless family. We are out of Adam and must change lineage and that is achieved through MARRIAGE to Christ. The two shall become ONE FLESH. You are NO LONGER TWO BUT ONE. The whole Bible is about MARRIAGE! WE ARE SAVED THROUGH MARRIAGE. Read 1 Cor 11:3, I know this will be hard to grasp (pray). Yeshua was saved by the Father, Man is saved by marriage to Christ, Woman is saved by marriage to her believing husband. (they are one flesh). Eph 5:23 "For the husband IS the head of the wife AS Christ is the head of the church, HIS BODY, of which HE IS THE SAVIOR. Ehp 5:32, Paul calls it "A profound mystery". Think of it like Russian dolls, The wife in the husband, the husband in Christ, Christ in in the Father, I Cor 15:28 .........we'll be in God ALL IN ALL. So the order is Christ submits to the Father, Man submits to Christ, Woman submits to Man. Read Gen 3:1 To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife... That is the real reason Christ had to die on the cross! Out of Yahweh's order, 1 Cor 11:3. We would do well to follow Yahweh's plan. I told you it would be hard to understand but bottom line is WE ARE SAVED THROUGH MARRIAGE. Be Blessed!

Remarriage is not scriptural for any reason except after the death of one’s spouse. Even if one spouse is guilty of sexual immorality. The exception clause is stated ONLY for the question of divorce, NOT remarriage. Plus Jesus was answering their question in regards to Moses’ law, not Christianity. Paul states in 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 that separation or reconciliation are the only two options because you are BOUND TILL DEATH, 1 Corinthians 7:39, Romans 7:1-3. Remarriage is not part of God’s plan for forgiveness, reconciliation, or redemption. Remarriage, if your spouse is still living, is done purely out of fleshly and worldly desires. Reconciliation is God’s will and perfect plan, not remarriage!

My question is: With divorce law being what it is, why would any man be foolish enough to marry? During Jesus' day, a woman had no ability under the law to divorce her husband. Period. Jesus is not talking about divorce. He is talking about "putting away" outside of Jewish law. Divorce could only be done by the man and it involved both "papers" and "putting away". Two steps.

Not true!!! 1 Cor.7:10-11 states, that the husband must not divorce his wife even if she left in verse 10 and verse 11 says the husband can't divorce his wife! That's a command! Sex outside the marriage, the wife being beat, abandonment, the husband was a drunkard or not a good provider could be the reason she left in 1 Corinthians 7:10. Phillip and Heriodas was in a covenant marriage. Heriodas was still the wife of Phillip even though she committed incest and adultery with Herod who was the half brother of Phillip. Nothing can separate a covenant marriage but death!! This is the only example of a covenant marriage, sexually immorality, divorce and remarriage, yet scripture clearly points out that though she married Herod she's still Phillip's wife!!! If what they're saying is what Jesus said then even if she couldn't marry Herod legally she would be called Phillips ex-wife because Philip was the innocent party and would be able to remarry!! I love John MacArthur but scripture does not affirm anything related to MDR being ok. In fact it's an abomination according to Luke 16:14-18. Divorce is highly esteemed among men!!!! Not the Lord!!!

Correct. Many note that Jesus is recognizing tithing in this passage but ignore that what the Pharisees were tithing had nothing to do with money. The items “mint, dill and cumin” are spices - produce items, which makes sense as only produce and livestock from within the Holy Land were accepted as tithe items. It’s also noteworthy that Jesus is indicting the Pharisees, not praising them in the true context of this passage. The fact that they were practicing compulsory tithing according to the law at that time doesn’t excuse their negligence of spiritual “more important” matters - “justice, mercy and faithfulness.” So indirectly, Jesus is calling tithing a lessor part of the law, which places it on a lessor plane as that of the moral law.

Once married it's for life only death can separate you. God hate divorce. You are allowed to separate but not divorce. If for some reason you separate you have to remain single or reconcile back to your spouse.

This passage only shows that even before the mosaic law, these who believed in God gave back a tithe of their earnings to provide for priests and such servants of God.They also sacrificed lambs and other animals pointing forward to Christ's sacrificial death on the cross, and they weren't even Jews (As there were no Jews back then yet)

Misinterpretation and twisting out of context is a certainty whenever people attempt to build their careers and extract their livelihoods by leveraging that which must be offered as service of either spiritual or community value. The scripture does say that Levi paid tithes in the loins of abraham. So it was tithes according to scripture.

Correct. It's also interesting how today's version of tithing from earned wages to a religious institution has no biblical precedent. Only consumable items were accepted as a biblical, systematic (required) tithe deliverable although it's evident money was widely traded and wages were earned during those times.

I agree with you that tithing is not for the church today. According to the biblical text it never was 20% or more. According to the biblical text there was only 1 tithe of 10% used for a different purpose every 3rd year (Deut 14:22-29). As a result the levites received an average of 3.3% only, not 10%. But this was enough for them to live comforably, because there were not so many levites anyway.

The answer is definite no - Tithing is part of the Law & we Christians are NOT UNDER THE LAW but under Grace & one CANNOT MIX THE TWO! Jesus Himself (Jesus in the flesh & BEFORE the Cross) made it clear to His Disciples that He was sent BUT to the Lost sheep of the House of Israel (Matthew 10:5-6, Matthew 15:24) & in Matthew 15:26 gentiles were likened unto dogs who ate the crumbs from the floor! Jesus had not yet been Crucified, the Gospel of Grace had not yet been given to Saul (Paul) & Christianity did not yet exist! Further the Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 give as it purposes in your heart to give as God loves a cheerful giver! God does contradict His Word. One needs to STOP mixing Law & Grace as under Law you must obey the Law & sacrifice once a year for the forgiveness of sins whereas under Grace Christ did it all on the Cross His last Words being it is finished!
